Singapore Changi Airport Lounges offer a chance to eat, freshen up and recharge before your next flight. The right choice depends on your terminal, budget and whether you have lounge access through your ticket or membership.
This guide compares seven lounge options and groups, covering prices, entry rules and facilities. It also explains the difference between airside lounges and Jewel’s landside Changi Lounge, with current service restrictions to help you plan your visit.
Quick Answer: Which Singapore Changi Airport Lounges Should You Choose?
Start with your departure terminal and any lounge access included with your ticket or membership. If paying separately, compare the visit duration and whether a shower is included.
Airside means the departure transit area; landside means the public area.
| Lounge | Terminal and area | Access to consider | Published adult price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plaza Premium | T1, airside | Paid entry; eligible memberships | From S$55; package varies |
| Ambassador Transit Lounge | T2 and T3, airside | Paid entry; eligible memberships | S$55 nett/3h; S$68 nett with shower |
| SATS Premier | T1, T2 and T3, airside | Eligible memberships or airline invitations | Depends on entitlement |
| marhaba | T1 and T3, airside | Eligible memberships or airline invitations | Depends on entitlement |
| Blossom | T4, airside | Paid entry; eligible memberships | From S$55; package varies |
| Changi Lounge | Jewel, landside | Paid entry; eligible memberships | S$32++/3h Lite package |
| Singapore Airlines lounges | T2 and T3, airside | Eligible cabin or frequent-flyer status | Included when eligible |
“Nett” indicates the published inclusive price; “++” means applicable service charges and taxes are added. International connecting passengers must enter Singapore to reach Jewel.
Prices and service notices were checked on 4 October 2026. At that check, Priority Pass listed marhaba T1 as unavailable to transit passengers, and several lounges had temporary facility restrictions or scheduled cleaning closures. See the individual lounge sections and linked pages for dated notices.
Clara’s Tip
Work backwards from the time your airline wants you at the gate, allowing for walking, screening and any terminal transfer. Choose a package for the lounge time you can actually use, rather than the full gap between flights.
Before You Book: Airside Lounges vs Jewel
- Airside lounges: Most options are inside the departure transit area. You need the appropriate travel documents and must meet the lounge’s admission conditions.
- Jewel: Changi Lounge is on Level 1 in the public area. International connecting passengers must clear arrival immigration and meet Singapore’s entry requirements; a lounge booking does not grant entry.
- Separate tickets: Allow time to collect and recheck baggage if required before visiting a departure lounge. Our Singapore Changi Airport Self-Transfer Guide explains the process.
- Terminal changes: T1, T2 and T3 connect airside by walking routes and Skytrain; T4 requires a shuttle. Allow time to return to your gate and complete screening. See our Singapore Changi Airport Transit Guide for transfer arrangements.
7 Singapore Changi Airport Lounges and Lounge Groups to Consider
The following choices include individual lounges and groups with branches in several terminals. Recommendations reflect published locations, facilities and admission conditions rather than a single ranking for every traveller.
1. Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 1

Plaza Premium is a practical starting point for paid access in Terminal 1. It is on Level 3 of the Departure/Transit Lounge West and normally operates 24 hours daily.
The lounge has seating areas, Wi-Fi and charging points. Its published food selection includes Singapore laksa and chicken rice, making it an option for travellers who want a meal as part of their visit. Showers are also listed, although charges and availability depend on the service booked.
The operator advertises prices from S$55. This is a starting price, so the selected package determines the visit duration and inclusions.
Current renovation notice: the operator’s announcement lists works scheduled from 14 August to 7 October. The lounge remains open, but seating, toilets and showers may be available on a rotating basis. The planned end date should not be treated as confirmation that every facility has returned to normal.
For a T1 departure, this lounge can combine a meal and a rest without a terminal change. During the works, it is less suitable if a guaranteed shower or particularly quiet surroundings are essential.
See the Plaza Premium Lounge booking page for current packages and renovation updates.
2. Ambassador Transit Lounges, Terminals 2 and 3

Ambassador is particularly useful when you want a clear choice between lounge access, a shower-inclusive package and a shower-only visit.
The Terminal 2 branch is on Level 3 near Transfer F and Dreamscape. The Terminal 3 branch is on Level 3 in Departure Transit Lounge North, next to the movie theatre. Both are listed as operating around the clock.
Alongside lounge seating, the operator lists business services and separately priced nap suites. Terminal 2 also has a gym option, while Terminal 3 lists a bookable meeting room.
Published adult lounge rates are:
| Package | Adult price |
|---|---|
| Three hours without a shower | S$55 nett |
| Three hours with a shower | S$68 nett |
| Five hours without a shower | S$82 nett |
| Five hours with a shower | S$97 nett |
| Shower only | S$20 nett |
Adult pricing applies from age 12. Separate child rates apply for ages 2–11, while children under two receive complimentary lounge access.
Compare packages on the official Ambassador Transit Lounge Terminal 2 page or Ambassador Transit Lounge Terminal 3 page.
3. SATS Premier Lounges, Terminals 1, 2 and 3

SATS Premier is a convenient group to check if you already have eligible lounge access. Branches are available in all three connected terminals.
Priority Pass lists standard alcoholic drinks among the complimentary facilities, alongside seating and flight information. Its admission conditions allow a maximum three-hour stay and warn that entry may be restricted when space is limited.
Normal listings show 24-hour operation, but these temporary cleaning closures are currently published. All times are Singapore local time.
- Terminal 1: 6–8 October 2026, between 02:00 and 05:00.
- Terminal 2: 20–22 October 2026, between 01:30 and 04:30.
- Terminal 3: 27–29 October 2026, between 02:30 and 05:30.
For an overnight connection, the closure window matters more than the normal 24-hour label. Keep another eligible option in mind if your visit overlaps one of these periods.
Review the listings for SATS Premier Terminal 1, SATS Premier Terminal 2 or SATS Premier Terminal 3. If you use another membership programme or an airline invitation, its conditions govern your visit.
4. marhaba Lounges, Terminals 1 and 3

marhaba offers another option for eligible travellers, but its two Changi branches currently have important differences.
The Terminal 1 lounge is above the departure immigration area. The Terminal 3 branch is opposite Singapore Food Street on Level 3. Priority Pass lists standard alcoholic drinks as complimentary and normally allows three-hour visits at both.
For Terminal 1, the current Priority Pass listing states that the lounge is not accessible to transit passengers. International connecting passengers should obtain confirmation of eligibility before relying on this branch.
For Terminal 3, the listing reports refurbishment, reduced capacity and unavailable in-lounge toilets and showers. It also states that only beverages are provided between 02:00 and 05:00.
These restrictions make T3 a poor fit if your main aim is an overnight meal or shower, even though the lounge remains open.
Read the access notes for marhaba Lounge Terminal 1 or the service updates for marhaba Lounge Terminal 3.
5. Blossom – SATS & Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 4

Blossom is a practical paid lounge option for Terminal 4 passengers. It is on the Level 2 mezzanine within the departure transit area and is listed as operating 24 hours.
The operator describes a food and beverage offering with a tapas bar, alongside seating, Wi-Fi and charging points. Shower facilities are available subject to operating conditions, with additional charges potentially applying.
Advertised prices start from S$55. The selected package determines how long you can stay and which services are included. Blossom also appears in the Priority Pass directory.
For travellers departing from T4, its main advantage is a lounge break within the same terminal. There is little benefit in travelling elsewhere if the transfer would consume much of your available time.
See the official Blossom Lounge booking page for available packages and facilities.
6. Changi Lounge, Jewel

Changi Lounge suits travellers spending time landside before departure or after entering Singapore. Its location on Level 1 of Jewel makes it useful for the gap between hotel check-out and an evening flight.
The lounge provides charging points and portable laptop tables, with separately bookable meeting rooms and nap pods. Food inclusions depend on the package, so a snack-bar visit and a meal-inclusive visit should not be treated as equivalent.
Published opening hours are 06:00–22:00 daily, with the kitchen and bar closing at 21:00.
Three-hour adult packages include:
- Lite: S$32++, including lounge access and the snack bar.
- Classic: S$45++, adding one hot meal and one beer.
Current shower restriction: facilities are listed as unavailable until 15 November 2026. A later booking should only be treated as a shower option once service has been confirmed as resumed.
See the official Changi Lounge packages and opening hours for the current offer.
Travellers arriving in Singapore can use our Singapore Changi Airport Arrival Guide to plan the arrival process before visiting Jewel.
7. Singapore Airlines Lounges, Terminals 2 and 3

Singapore Airlines operates SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Changi. Access depends on your cabin, frequent-flyer status and departing flight rather than a general paid-entry package.
KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members travelling in Economy or Premium Economy on eligible Singapore Airlines or Star Alliance-operated flights can use the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge. Gold status alone does not provide access to the SilverKris Business Class Lounge at Changi.
The KrisFlyer Gold facilities include warm food, snacks, beverages and Wi-Fi. Singapore Airlines currently lists showers and a baby-care room at the Terminal 3 branch only. It also states that Scoot passengers are not eligible for KrisFlyer Gold Lounge access under these rules.
Terminal 2 is undergoing a phased redevelopment. Its new First Class SilverKris Lounge has opened, while the upgraded Business Class and KrisFlyer Gold lounges are expected to follow in 2027.
Review the airline’s SilverKris Lounge information or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge access requirements, depending on your entitlement.
How to Access Singapore Changi Airport Lounges
There are three main routes: paying directly, using a lounge membership or receiving access through your airline. Establish what you already have before buying anything separately.
Pay Directly for a Visit
Economy passengers can purchase entry to participating independent lounges. A business-class ticket is not required, but you must still be able to access the lounge’s location.
Choose the correct branch and compare the visit duration, shower inclusion, child pricing and cancellation conditions. A starting price may describe a shorter or more limited package than the one you need.
If booking ahead, read the conditions covering a delayed arrival. Your flight changing does not necessarily change your lounge reservation automatically.
Use Priority Pass or a Credit Card Benefit
Membership participation does not mean every cardholder receives identical benefits. Your own account determines whether a visit is complimentary, how many visits remain and what accompanying guests cost.
Before using a benefit, establish:
- Whether the exact branch is included.
- Whether your visit is complimentary or chargeable.
- Guest and child charges.
- The permitted stay and any separately charged services.
The Priority Pass Changi lounge directory lists participating branches. If your card uses DragonPass, LoungeKey or another programme, use that programme’s own conditions.
Use an Airline Invitation
Your ticket or frequent-flyer status may already include lounge access. The relevant entitlement normally depends on your immediate departing flight, and travelling companions may have different rights.
Confirm the assigned lounge with your airline before purchasing an independent pass, particularly when flying in a premium cabin.
Which Singapore Changi Airport Lounges Fit Your Journey?
The right choice depends on what you need from the break. Use these situations to narrow the list before comparing packages.
You Mainly Want a Shower
Ambassador’s S$20 nett shower-only option is a useful starting point if you are airside in T2 or T3 and do not need a meal or extended seating. If you want both, compare its shower-inclusive lounge packages.
Elsewhere, a shower being listed does not mean it is included in every entry package. Temporary restrictions also matter: marhaba T3 and Changi Lounge currently list unavailable showers, while Plaza Premium T1 warns of rotating availability during renovation. The individual lounge sections explain the relevant notices.
Ask about the shower queue when you arrive and organise your shower before settling down for a meal.
If you are landside, Hub & Spoke beside Terminal 2 lists pay-per-use showers at S$5 for a single entry, with disposable towels sold separately. International transit passengers must enter Singapore to use this public-area facility.
You Want a Meal and Somewhere to Work
Choose an accessible lounge near your departure route, then compare the food inclusions and usable visit time. A snack-only package may offer poor value if you still need to buy a full meal afterwards.
For a landside break at Jewel, Changi Lounge’s Classic package includes a hot meal, while its Lite package centres on the snack bar.
You Have a Long Overnight Wait
A lounge can provide somewhere to sit between flights, but ordinary entry does not guarantee a bed, privacy or uninterrupted sleep. Longer opening hours also do not necessarily mean a full food service throughout the night.
For actual sleep, compare a separately booked Ambassador nap suite with an airside room at Ambassador Transit Hotel in T2 or T3. Keep the room’s minimum booking duration separate from the lounge’s stay allowance.
You Are Travelling with Children
Compare the total family cost, including child admission and guest charges under your membership, rather than the adult price alone. At Ambassador Transit Lounges, adult pricing applies from age 12, separate child rates apply for ages 2–11, and children under two receive complimentary lounge access.
A conveniently located lounge with enough time for a meal can be more useful than a more distant option that requires another terminal transfer.
Ambassador bölümünden şu paragrafı kaldır; bilgi artık çocuk bölümünde yer alıyor:
“Adult pricing applies from age 12. Separate child rates apply for ages 2–11, while children under two receive complimentary lounge access.”
You Only Need Somewhere to Rest
A paid lounge may be unnecessary if you have already eaten and mainly want a seat. Changi has free snooze and rest areas in the transit terminals, although availability is not guaranteed.
Our Singapore Changi Airport Guide covers the wider airport layout and facilities.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Economy Passengers Use Lounges at Changi Airport?
Yes. Several Singapore Changi Airport Lounges sell entry regardless of cabin class, including Plaza Premium, Ambassador and Blossom. Economy passengers may also qualify through lounge membership or eligible frequent-flyer status. The lounge’s location and admission conditions still apply.
What Is the Cheapest Lounge Option at Changi?
Among the packages compared here, Jewel’s landside Changi Lounge has the lowest advertised base price at S$32++ for three hours, before applicable service charges and taxes. For airside access, Ambassador publishes a three-hour package without a shower at S$55 nett; the location and inclusions differ.
Can You Stay Overnight in a Changi Airport Lounge?
Several transit lounges normally operate 24 hours, but your pass still has a time limit and temporary closures may apply. For a bed rather than lounge seating, choose a separately booked nap suite or transit hotel.
Can You Use Changi Lounge Without Flying?
Yes. Changi Lounge is in Jewel’s public area and offers paid visits for people who want to work, rest or take a break while visiting Jewel. You do not need to enter the departure transit area. However, lounge-programme admission is different: the official page requires a valid boarding pass for the listed membership programmes.
Final Thoughts
The best Singapore Changi Airport Lounges are the ones that fit your actual journey. Start with your departure terminal, use any access you already hold and pay for the facilities that will make a difference to your wait.
For a straightforward paid visit, compare Plaza Premium in T1, Ambassador in T2 or T3, and Blossom in T4. Choose Changi Lounge for a landside break, and give extra attention to current service notices when a shower or overnight visit is your priority.
